USING THE EASY ART FINDER SEARCH

We invented THE EASY ART FINDER because we wanted to make it easy for visitors to access our vast portfolio of items quickly and provide a little fun to their experience.


When you come to ART-4-Lessess, you will use our EASY ART FINDER, a four step, progressive process, the purpose of which is to have you see only those items that meet all of your criteria.

You will start by indicating the extent of your art budget. Come on, you do have an idea of what you would like to spend, don't you? Why look at items completely above or below your budget. Answering this principal question limits the number of items that you will see. You can always go back later and adjust this amount, so pick a range and let's get going. Remember that once you pick an item from the menu, you need to click on the go button to register your choice.

Now we get to the crux of the matter! What are you interested in by subject matter? We make this choice easy for you by allowing both a general subject choice and a specific subject choice, one choice of each at a time, so that you can see your results prior to going on to the next choice.

The purpose of the General Subject choice is too try to get your opinion of what you are interested in without being too specific. Choose one! You must get it by now that the EASY ART FINDER is smart enough to consider your budget, edition type, and general subject preference together and indicate to you what is available for you. You always get a match, and you are only shown items that are within your search parameters. You are now given the option to see what you have chosen or you can go forward to select a more specific subject category or back to change your choices.

Well, assuming that you chose to continue to specific subjects, you will only be shown those subjects that match your earlier decisions. Make your final choice, click go, and now the EASY ART FINDER has shown you the art you want!

Q: Do people really buy art on the Internet without seeing it in person?
A: Approximately 10% of all art prints are now sold on the Internet with over 40% of all art currently being represented there. It is increasingly more common for art customers to buy over the Internet because of excellent service, value, selection, and quality.

Q: What is a limited edition?
A: A limited edition is a fine art work, usually produced on better paper with the artist's participation, which:

a- has been hand signed by the artist,

b- is numbered by the artist, and

c- is limited to a certain number of regular prints and a small number of artists proofs

Many limited edition are available on the secondary market at higher than issue prices if the edition sells out and demand continues for the piece. Basically, they are a step above the items found at poster/framers both on and off the Internet. Many limited editions come with a Certificate of Authenticity

Q: How do you ship?
A: Some of the items you order come from our warehouse and some come directly from artists or art publishers. All items are guaranteed to be professionally packed and should come in perfect condition or you should not accept it and send it back. If the items are damaged in transit, we will pay for your return freight. The basic shipping method is UPS Ground, which takes from 3 to 7 business days normally.

Q: I thought I liked it, but I don't like it now!
A: We understand that certain items are hard to buy over the Internet. We offer a 100% return guarantee. If you don't like it send it back. However, you will not have your initial shipping and handling refunded, just the price of the goods unless the item is damaged. Please contact us with 7 days of your desire to return the item. No third party returns, please.

 Q. Why should I buy a work from an artist of whom I have never heard?
A. Artists are either self-promoted or promoted by art publishers. Only a few artists get published. This is a matter of taste of the publisher, rather than the quality of the work or the production. Remember, when an artist is published, it cost money to publish that artist. Guess who pays the freight for the promotion at the gallery? The purpose of art is to please the eye and the senses, not to tell your friends that you have acquired a named artist's work. We believe that there is a match between every piece of artwork ever produced and a satisfied customer. It is a function of price, quality, and that special quality which makes someone like a piece of art. Give all artists a chance!
